Epsilon Gamma Iota, Inc.


Brief History

Epsilon Gamma Iota, Inc. Social and Service Organization was founded on the campus of Prairie View A&M University by 38 students from the Engineering Concepts Institute Program (ECI Program). They later became know as the "38 Minds of Success". Epsilon was recognized on the campus of Prairie View A&M University on November 19, 1985. The organization's colors are "Radiant Red" and "Royal Blue", and our motto, "Through Unity We Shall Prevail" is something each member lives by.

Original Purpose

To promote social as well as academic excellence for the betterment of Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science and Architecture majors on the campus of Prairie View A&M University
